APA Paper Format Basics
- Double-spaced, 1 inch margin on all sides
- 12 pt. Times New Roman font recommended
- Unless otherwise instructed, include a title page
- Indent the first line of each paragraph in the body of your paper a half inch
- Microsoft Word tips:
- Insert menu option > Header > paper title in ALL CAPS, top left (shorten if > 50 characters)
- Insert > Header & Page Number > Page number in top right
