Brief Descriptions:
- Annotated Bibliographies Made Easy: learn what such assignments look like and generally consist of (what an annotation is), quick strategies for comparing and contrasting sources used, and tools and help materials for citing them properly.
- How to Find and Use (some) E-textbooks: Many of the required textbooks at Empire State University are open access or available through the library (at no cost to the student). In this session, participants will learn how to search for, access, and use these free resources. Participants will also learn about the numerous tools available with these resources like a personal bookshelf to save and quickly access materials, personal highlighted text, annotation, and notation options – all there to help you get the most out of the educational materials available.
