MLA Paper Format Basics
:
Use a 12-point font (Arial or Times New Roman)
Double space entire paper. No extra space between paragraphs.
1 inch margins on all sides.
Indent first line of each paragraph 1/2 inch (or 5 spaces)
No title page unless requested by instructor. Put your name, instructor, course number and date in upper left of first page.
Paper title is centered (DO NOT use underline, quotation marks or CAPS for this)
