Want to Participate in Library Initiatives?

Generative AI Study
 

Have views about generative AI like ChatGPT, and the skills needed to use it ethically and effectively (sometimes referred to as: AI literacy)? A SUNY Empire research study is looking for students to interview this Dec. or Jan. (~60 min. interview online via Microsoft Teams) about their views of and use of AI tools. All responses from interviews will be anonymized.

User Experience Testing

The SUNY Empire library is looking for students to participate in user experience (UX) testing of our website in December.

Sessions will take place virtually on MS Teams for up to 60 minutes. Students will share their screen and show how they would find library resources and services.

If you are--or know of-- a student who might be interested or if you have interns in need of something to do for an hour of their service, please have them fill out this form. Students of all levels are welcome to participate. The data collected will be used to make student-focused improvements to our library website.
