Council of Science Editors (CSE) style is used to cite sources in biology and other natural sciences fields.
CSE style uses three systems for citing sources: 1) the name-year system, 2) the citation-sequence system, and 3) the citation-name system. Ask your instructor which system is preferred for your assignment.
