The library is creating a new library advisory board, and we want you to join us!
We are looking for a diverse group of volunteers to shape the future of the online library from among our graduate and undergraduate students, faculty, and professionals.
Beginning this Fall term, the library advisory board will meet at least quarterly via Microsoft Teams to discuss potential new initiatives to improve--and increase student engagement with--library services and resources.
This kind of service to the university looks great on a resume or CV, and your input would be invaluable to us!
If you think you would like to participate or need help deciding, please email Sara Hull, Librarian & Coordinator for Collaborative Projects, Reference & Outreach, by August 23rd.
Tell her a bit about yourself: your role at SUNY Empire, what you're studying/teaching, why you might be interested, and what your experience of the library has been like so far.
