  • Understand scholarly and popular sources, where to find them, and how they are used
  • Understand the peer review process
  • Understand the different types of information sources and how they compare in terms of who creates them and publishes them, the kind of information they contain, and how to find them
  • Understand the importance of timeliness in information sources, and how to find information sources that were created within a certain date range
