Symbols for Sets, Logic, Proof
The following chart shows examples of set operations in Maple. Operations can be defined using Maple symbols from the Common Symbols palette, or using commands. For set operations examples: link to Set Operator Symbols
There are also many other symbols in the Maple palettes to help with the documentation of mathematics, including symbols for logic and proofs. It is worth opening the palettes to find what is available to use in your Maple documents. Note that some symbols function as mathematical operators, while others are used just for documentation purposes. For more information: link to Symbols Table
If you use some symbols from the palettes quite often, you can even build a Favorites Palette quite easily. This will save time in finding the symbols. More information can be found in the Maple Help (search on palettes).
